Our mats are mat from a material called XPE. It's a safer alternative to traditional EVA and PVC play mats. It's it free from phthalates, BPA, latex and formaldehyde (that's what causes that toxic smell when you open other play mats!) It's also hypoallergenic and anti-microbial.

Because it is non-toxic as a play mat, it does not give off a bad smell. In fact, it uses XPE, which is a food-grade material that is safe for children. It is also cushioning and soft so that it will not make any noise or discomfort to your baby when they are playing in the mat.

The mode indicator lights switch off 20 seconds after selection - ideal for darkened rooms. The adorable mini also has a colour changing night light. You can choose to have this light off, stay on the red light to support sleep or have it cycle through colours.

Yes. To reduce excessive humidity (especially in a smaller room) we always suggest to leave the door slightly ajar to increase air circulation in the room. You can also easily adjust the mist intensity to a lower output setting. If you see the mist going up and straight down, this is a key indicator that the mist setting is too high for the humidity level in the room.
